Intern, Office of the Public Advocate for the City of New York; Sep 2018 - May 2019

I worked in the Public Advocate’s Office in the Investigations and Policy Unit at 1 Centre Street, initially under Letitia James, then under Council Speaker Corey Johnson, and finally under Jumaane Williams. I conducted research, drafted reports, and edited briefs. Between policy assignments I operated the OPA’s Constituent Services hotline as an intake specialist.

Founder, Media and Social justice collaborative; Columbia University — Nov 2017 - May 2019

The MSJC exists to promote and facilitate collaborative relationships between social workers and journalists. I founded it in its present form and organized its panels, workshops, and networking events.

The RHSR is an award-winning neighborhood newspaper in Southwest Brooklyn. I currently design the Arts Section, but have held many other positions within the sales, editorial, and design departments.
