Offerings
Noah is happy to be offering in-person therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families. His work is informed by Internal Family Systems, expressive arts modalities, and mindfulness. Noah believes healing is messy, and so his therapy sessions take place in an art studio rather than a conventional therapy office.
Individual Counseling
We all suffer, and we all seek to alleviate our suffering. Psychotherapy can’t address all forms of suffering, but it can help us identify area where we’re stuck, both within ourselves and in our relationships. You or your child might be facing an acute concern because of a major life transition—whether it be divorce, the loss of a loved one, or something similar. Or, you might be facing chronic stress relating to finances, challenges at work or school, or simply the state of the world. Sometimes people can’t really figure out what their problem is, they’re just suffering.
All of these reasons are valid, and all of them are workable.
In therapy, Noah uses a grounded, compassionate and creative approach that seeks to address not only your suffering, but perhaps to reframe the meaning you make out of it. Using attachment theory, timeless spiritual insights, the imaginal realm of archetypes and dreams, and a smidge of common sense, we’ll explore your psyche together. With your own values as our compass, we’ll find a way to the other side, charting a map as we go.
Noah offers the tools of art therapy to all of his clients, adult and child. When requested, Noah is glad to offer “assignments” to better infuse the insights we discover into your everyday life, where they belong.
Noah’s standard fee for individual counseling is $150 per 60 minute session. However, Noah offers a limited number of lower-cost spots for people with limited means.

Family Therapy
Our experiences in our families—both as children and as adults—shape the whole rest of our social, spiritual and emotional lives. Nothing makes as big an imprint on our psyches as our early experiences, and breaking destructive intergenerational patterns is one of the most difficult, and rewarding, things we can do in this lifetime.
Every family is a system, and the culture of every family is unique. Noah is glad to be one of the few providers in the East Bay offering in-person family therapy with a focus on creative expression. When treating families, Noah focuses on attachment, communication, and boundaries. He believes every role in every family is deserving of respect.
Noah’s standard fee for family therapy varies depending on the number of people involved. As with his other offerings, Noah offers a limited number of lower-cost spots for people with limited means. For an initial consult and a quote, please click here.
Group Work
Noah keeps his groups small, to ensure depth. His groups are usually limited term, and often focus on a particular theme (e.g. death) or skill (e.g. self-esteem). Please scroll down for an up-to-date list of groups currently available.
